Configuring Digital Inputs
To make a Local I/O Channel operate as a digital input, first click the channel in the sidebar to go to the channel settings view:

Then click Digital Input in the view that appears:

Finally, click Save:

Digital inputs may have a Polarity of Normal or Reversed. In Normal polarity, if the Raw Input value is 0, the System Value will also be 0 (this value is written to the configured tag, which is channel1 in this case):

In Reversed polarity, if the Raw Input value is 0, the System Value will be 1, and vice versa:
